We often hear from writers who are interested in PPA and its member publications. While membership in PPA is for publications only, there are several opportunities for writers to make their services available to PPA members.

Writers Database and
Resource Table at Annual Convention

For the last several years, PPA has maintained an on-line database of writers and free-lancers of parenting-related topics for use by PPA member publications. The writer's fee of $35 not only includes being listed in the on-line database, but also provides writers an opportunity to submit information about themselves and their work to the Annual Convention's "Resource Table". The "Resource Table" has been a popular feature at the Convention providing member Publishers and Editors at the meeting the opportunity to review materials from writers and take home with them. By all reports from our members, they have found this service useful when they need to find writers and columnists.

This is your chance to include your listing for calendar year 2010. While the 2010 Annual Convention has now passed, the writers service will enable you to be included in the on-line database for the remainder of calendar year 2010 and you will also receive one copy of the current PPA member roster (a $50 value!).  You will be invited to "re-up" or renew this listing next January, prior to the 2011 Convention.
